Estatein (“we”) operates this real estate website and mobile app. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name, email address and profile picture. We never receive your Google password. Passwords for email sign-in are stored only as salted hashes.
• Enquiries and bookings: name, email, phone number and message you send about a property or a viewing.
• Property alerts and newsletter: your email address and the search criteria you save.
• AI advisor: messages you send to the advisor. Signed-in users’ conversations are stored in their account; guests’ conversations stay in the browser. If you share your location, it is used only for the request and is not stored.
• Listings you publish (agents): property details and uploaded images or videos.

How we use it

To provide sign-in and your dashboard, answer enquiries, schedule viewings, send the alerts and newsletters you requested, operate the AI advisor, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

Google user data

When you use Sign in with Google we request only the openid, email and profile scopes, and use them solely to create and authenticate your Estatein account. We do not share Google user data with third parties and do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Enquiries are shared with the agent or agency responsible for the property. We use service providers for hosting and database (Cloudflare, Neon), file storage, email delivery and AI responses; they process data only to provide those services.

Retention and your choices

We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can unsubscribe from alerts with the link in each email, and you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing [email protected].

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies or tokens. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
